Around the Parc Mary - Heid des Corbeaux and Tessenire

This walk begins in the center of Esneux. The first sight along the route is the Parc du Mary. In 1845, the owner of Rond-Chêne, a certain Mr. Francotte, had the Mary pond and the surrounding park constructed. Since 1914, the area has been owned by the municipality and was classified in 1941. Today, Parc du Mary is part of a larger whole of 100 ha of park and forest with various marked paths running through it. Hikers will be amazed by the large number of different tree species, the beautiful ponds, and the interesting fauna and flora. Along the way, interested visitors can stop by the Tessenire arboretum, which was established in 1918. The walk then continues along Amostrenne, Les Crêtes, and Le Rond-Bâti, ultimately arriving at the old castle of Rond-Chêne. The walk ends with a passage through the old hamlet of La Salte and then returns via Rue de Bruxelles.
