Walk of 5 to 10 km in Olne - The Bocages of Rafhay

This beautiful walk, starting in the center of the village of Olne, one of the Most Beautiful Villages of Wallonia, is surprising. You discover unique heritage, beautiful landscapes, and nature... Amidst a landscape that combines the softness of the Land of Herve with the diversity of the Ardennes massif, only the slate spire of the Saint-Sébastien church reveals the presence of the small village of Olne. The limestone houses and farms from the 17th and 18th centuries will captivate you from the very start of the walk. You walk along paths and small steps through meadows, all the way to the scenic landscape of Rafhay. There, you can enjoy a 360-degree panorama over Saint-Hadelin, the most picturesque hamlet of the municipality. After that, you descend through the small forest of Gerarheid. Watch for the limestone houses, often adorned with pottery work and the nail tree. After passing over the old Voie de Liège, it continues to the Old Lime Tree (Vieux Tilleul). Here, a beautiful panorama opens up over the village of Olne.
