The BX07 hike starts at the site 'Au coeur de l'ardoise'. At this tourist spot, you can dive 25 meters underground to learn about the hard work of the 'scailton' (the slate worker). After the visit, you can taste a Morépire beer or enjoy a miners' omelette served in the pan.
This hike follows the former route of the Bertrix-Muno railway, which has completely fallen into disuse. You follow the trail of the 'speaking stones' before entering the forest. You climb to the Ardennes plateau where you have a stunning view over the Aise Valley. The elevation difference is 241 meters. Some parts are very wild. At the finish, you can enjoy a beautiful panorama of the 'Pont de la Blanche'.
