This walk takes you through the soothing nature, with wooded valleys that perfectly blend with the babbling waters of the rivers. The route features numerous springs and streams that together form the two valleys of the region: the valley of the Eau Blanche, named for the white color of the river's limestone bed, and the valley of the Eau Noire, the river named for its schist bed with a darker color. In the hamlet of "Franc Bois," at the top of the slope, flint and tools have been discovered, indicating human presence since the Paleolithic. Near the former fortifications, there is a beautiful viewpoint overlooking the village of Lompret.
