Montbliart, the smallest village in the municipality of Sivry-Rance, is situated in a landscape of hills and valleys through which the rivers Kleine Helpe and Ry de Fromont flow. The walk starts at the church and goes through the green countryside with old houses and Bruyères, a hamlet from the 19th century. Next, you take the Grand Chemin, the main street of the village that connected the forges in the Middle Ages. The chapel was built in 1681 and features a niche made of marble from Rance, the neighboring village with quarries that were active until the mid-20th century.
