This walking route begins at the 'Chemin des Quinze Pieds' parking lot and takes you to the heart of the Rance domain forest. The forest mainly consists of oaks, hornbeams, beeches, cherry trees, maples, and ashes. Along the roads, some conifers have been planted. The entire domain has economic, ecological, and social functions. The whole wood is classified as a "Natura 2000" area, which confirms the great biological wealth of the region. Additionally, the forest is PEFC-certified, a guarantee that the forest is managed sustainably. The route takes you along forested paths, but as you walk briefly along the clearings, you will see in the background the farmhouse of the Ermitage. On clear days, you can see the dam of Eau d'Heure tower in the distance on the right.
