Le Mesnil is the village with the smallest number of inhabitants in the merged municipality of Viroinval, and undoubtedly the most picturesque. 90 years ago, however, there were 500 people living there and there were as many as 19 cafés, including a few clandestine ones. Le Mesnil carefully preserves the traces of the past. This short walk takes you along paths through unfenced meadows to the top of the hill, where you can enjoy the view over the Meuse valley and the Ardennes forests. The stream Deluve provides a refreshing element at the end of the walk, just before the slope leading down to the village.
