The start is along a fairly busy road, but the walk becomes a bit wilder as it leaves the asphalt to follow the Flavion beneath the forest. A bench awaits the walker at the charming mill of Sommière. After a short climb to Les Hayettes, the Château de Montaigle and its farm are on the left side. You need to cross a meadow with cows to reach the impressive ruins of Montaigle. Back to Falaën after a dry climb and a long passage in the open air, from where you can see the bell towers of Maredsous and Maredret.
