Together with the forests of Rulles and Chenel, the Forest of Anlier is one of the largest forests in the country. About 7000 hectares of leafed mass on the edge of the municipalities of Habay, Léglise, Fauvillers, and Martelange. The forest covers the top of the divide between the Rhine and Maas river basins. The northern slope reaches 517m and the southern slope descends to 400m.
