In Wodecq there are as many as 35 chapels, spread along the streets and paths of the village, freestanding, attached to, or integrated into walls, built as a token of gratitude for a healing, a good harvest, or as an offering for a deceased person. The oldest date back to the 17th century, some have been restored, while others are overgrown with ivy or blackberry bushes. We invite you to stroll along the winding paths of our beautiful countryside to discover these witnesses of our religious past. There are two deviations from the junction route so that you can admire all the chapels.
