In Wodecq, there are no less than 35 chapels, scattered along the streets and paths of the village, freestanding, attached to or integrated into walls, built as an expression of gratitude for a healing, a good harvest, or as an offering for a deceased person. The oldest date back to the 17th century, some have been restored, while others are overgrown with ivy or brambles. We will take you along the winding paths of our beautiful countryside to discover these witnesses of our religious past.
