This rural tour takes you alongside the canal, far away from the hustle and bustle that characterizes the big cities. After seven kilometers, you reach Moulbaix where you discover a wooden mill that is still operational. The journey continues to Irchonwelz, where you will find the Brasserie des Légendes. The brewery produces top-fermented beers, 100% natural and without additives. Just past the village, the route enters the outskirts of Ath. In the surrounding area, the stone, wood, and textile industries have contributed to industrial development. However, they have not affected the landscape, and the roads remain rural. You now arrive in the beautiful city of Ath, which boasts an exceptional heritage. The junctions lead you to the Grand'Place where you can take a moment to pause and enjoy a drink in one of the many brasseries. In the center, the gabled houses, the Burbant tower, and the tower of the Saint-Julien church create a medieval atmosphere. Since the 15th century, giants have paraded through the streets, a tradition of which the city is very proud. The bike ride ends along the RAVeL 4 by the beautiful Blaton-Ath canal.
