AzureWhen you say Bastogne, you say Battle of the Bulge. From December 1944 to January 1945, this region was the scene of violent war battles. These were the last convulsions of Nazi Germany. The freezing cold has created inhumane situations. During this bike ride, war and peace merge harmoniously. In the first part you can enjoy peaceful landscapes, also in the GH Luxembourg. The route takes place partly on flat paths in RAVeL. As soon as you leave it, you go up and down through the countryside. There are no insurmountable "mountains". Do not hesitate to make a detour to the Bernistap canal, an extraordinary place.
