Cycle through the flat landscape from the Dender and Schelde dikes and cross the Schelde with the Appelsveer. Be sure to stop by the Veerhuis: recordings for the film Mira with among others Jan De Cleir and Willeke van Ammelrooy were made here in 1971. It is the film adaptation of the book De Teleurgang van de Waterhoek by Stijn Streuvels.
