The valley of the Rosdambeek is very wet. The Rosdambeek is a tributary of the Lys. It is fed by seepage water from the higher coulters. In wet periods, the valley functions as a water buffer. The trees are sometimes literally there with their roots in the water. Thanks to the bat paths and the Oosterdijk, you can explore part of this valley without getting your feet wet.
