Quiet walk along the ponds at the back of the Heers castle, followed by a short stretch through the sleepy village of Veulen. After passing through Veulen, we continue over subdivision roads and a bit of nature towards Mettekoven. After a small loop in Mettekoven, we dive back into nature towards Klein-Gelmen. From there, we take a detour along a grassy path through the fruit orchards and then through agricultural land and the low-traffic Truyerstraat back to the Vijverstraat in Heers. After the walk, we are welcome at brasserie De Passage.
