The name of the walk refers to 'De Halsen Tuimelaar', a Hals beer that used to be brewed at the Sint-Martinus brewery. This brewery/tavern was located at the current square with a kiosk by the church of Halle. The beer used to be consumed, among other places, at the Boshuisje. This beer has since been given a new life and can now quench your thirst once again!
