Sven's favorite 30K trail

Favorite trail path of Sven, a loop of 30K, the majority unpaved in the middle of nature. Regularly wooded and along water. Various domains under the management of Natuurpunt are completed, beautiful locations!
Only a few hundred meters from this loop is double, the rest of the loop takes you again and again into unique new nature locations. Unsuitable for mountanbikers (some areas are reserved for hikers) or hikers who would like to keep their dry feet (... or put on adapted footwear...).

Departure and arrival of the loop is in Heffen-centrum on the path of the church square with the towpath on the Senne (parking in the center).
In order, the following nature reserves are cut and closed together:
Horse track on the right bank of the Senne;
Robbroek (Nature Point);
Zuurbemdje (Nature Point);
Leuvensevaart to Zennegat with double passage along nature reserve Battelaer (Natuurpunt);
Zennegat and Heindonkpolder (one of the few passages with an open space);
North side Hazewinkel; Rupel;
Pants De Nayer;
Rush meadows;
West side Hazewinkel;
Nature reserve Arkenbos (Blaasveldbroek);
Tien Vierendelen and Hooiendonkpolder.
Behind the Chirolokalen van Heffen you can go back on the towpath on the Senne to end your loop.

Certain parts can be heavily overgrown in the summer (if the mower was not passed. In any case, this is a wonderful recommendation in the autumn, winter and spring period before the big growth spurt starts (or after passing with the mower in the summer).

Is 30K too long for you? Then do the loop in 2x15K; there is a short overlap halfway to Hooiendonkpolder just above Heffen).
