A Hageland voyage of discovery over hills, a lookout staircase and, above all, past many fruit orchards. This is the native region of Eddy Merckx, who conquered the hills here on his tricycle as a toddler. The 4 works of blossom art tell the fascinating story behind fruit growing. The vines of the Petrus farm adorn the slopes at KNP 47.

If you want to shorten the route to 19 km, you can do so by cycling from node 77 to node 78. Then you pass the statue of Eddy Merckx and the fruit sculpture 'De Reis'. In Meensel-Kiezegem, visit Museum44 or fruit farm Vanhellemont.

This route passes through the municipalities of Glabbeek, Lubbeek, Tielt-Winge and Bekkevoort.
