Slopes alternate on this route with open landscapes and wonderful panoramas, especially then towards Neerijse and Leefdaal. You pass some grape growers on or near the route and the castle of Huldenberg, cradle of the table grape, where Felix Sohie once started growing table grapes in the wall greenhouse of Baron de Peuthy. Via the quiet village of Vossem you reach the 'royal' Park of Tervuren, an elegant green oasis near Brussels and one of the Flemish gateways to the Sonian Forest. Combine your bike ride with a walk among the ponds and/or a visit to the AfricaMuseum.
