There are five of them: the stone folk figures of the sculpture group *De Ontmoeting* in Kapelle-op-den-Bos. They serve as a metaphor for the boroughs and symbolize the past and the future. The artwork is one of the highlights on your exploration of the village. St. Nicholas Church is unique in our country; after its reconstruction in 1926, it was given a crown instead of a spire. For a short while, you’ll walk along the banks of the Brussels-Scheldt Sea Canal, an important transportation artery and a major tourist attraction.
