The source area of the Kesterbeek is the setting for the Kesterbeek Walk, a loop through the fields and woods between Beersel, Dworp and Alsemberg. You start about 100 meters from the Herman Teirlinck House, the protected residence where the writer spent the last 30 years of his life. Walk through the hilly landscape with beautiful views of several valleys, the Pajottenland and Brussels. Taste the local lambic tradition at Brasserie Drie Fonteinen at the starting point or at the Oud-Beersel building's Beer House along the way. This hike is signposted with a 6-sided sign with the name Kesterbeekwandeling.
