The seven beech trees that once surrounded the white Chapel of the Seven Beech Trees are no longer there, but two poetry pillars remain. And you’ll discover even more unique heritage sites on this walk through the Pajot village of Strijtem. The community and cultural center Het Koetshuis was once the actual coach house of Strijtem Castle. St. Martin’s Church, with its pear-shaped steeple, attracts visitors with its beautiful stained-glass windows and murals.
