In Berendrecht and Zandvliet, there are many, sometimes hidden, slow paths.
Slow paths are connections between roads and parts of the village, primarily intended for cyclists, pedestrians, and riders. They may have been recently established, but they may also have been in use for hundreds of years. The main functions are: recreation, safe mobility, experiencing nature, and cultural heritage. These functions can be endangered by neglect or excessive modernization.
