AzureThe national park De Zoom-Kalmthoutse Heide, is a beautiful cross-border nature park between Belgium and the Netherlands. It is the result of the merger of two former parks, the Kalmthoutse Heide in Belgium and De Zoom in the Netherlands, it covers 37.50 square kilometers. A very large part of the park is covered with moors.
This walk travels through the north of this gigantic park. Alternating beautiful landscapes. !! A small part of the course is forbidden to dogs (but you will find an explanation to get around it).
Departure:
Verbindingsstraat, 2920 Kalmthout, in the Noord Grenspark car park.
No house number for this car park, but you can go to the crossroads Groenendriesstraat and Verbindingsstraat in Kalmthout, and go down 500 meters towards the forest (the car park will then be on your right).
