Residential care group GVO is a residential care network of ten autonomous elderly facilities spread across West Flanders. Both in their own environment and in our residential care centres, elderly people with a need for care can count on our knowledge and expertise.

On Saturday, May 6, 2023, GVO organizes a cycling event consisting of "The Tour of GVO" (200km), 5 smaller laps of around 50km and one lap of 100km.

The Tour of GVO passes all the facilities of GVO, the smaller rounds (GVO1 to GVO5) pass one or more facilities of GVO.

GVO2+3 combines the routes GVO2 and GVO3 and is therefore the route of around 100km.

IT IS BEST TO STUDY THE ROUTE ON THE MAP FIRST.

As you can see, the stretch between the center of Tielt and the Poelberg is covered 2 times. It is important that you choose the right exit near the Poelberg:

- Start in Wingene, Zwevezele or Tielt: you start on the GVO3 route. At the Poelberg turn right and continue via the route GVO2. Back at the Poelberg, turn left and continue the GVO3 route to your starting point.

- Start in Wakken or Meulebeke: you start on the route GVO2. At the Poelberg you turn left and you continue via the route GVO3. Back at the Poelberg you turn right and you complete the route GVO2 to your starting point.
