Start at CC De Borre in Bierbeek for a nice route through the Hageland. Along the way you pass some breweries but mostly cozy brown cafes. Perfect for tasting those Brabant beers. The altimeters on this route provide beautiful panoramas over Leuven and the Hageland. There are some tough sections over unpaved roads and cobblestones.

You can also start this route at the Kessel-Lo provincial domain, between junctions 80 and 5. You then continue your route to node 83 and so on clockwise. The route then becomes shorter: 45 km, but still very beautiful from Leuven to the Hageland and back.
