Parking is possible in the spacious car park of the Parc Communal du Châtelet. The entire walk passes through the beautiful Upper Sûre Natural Park Forêt D'Anlier.

We walked the loop clockwise. For the route we used local walks and GR routes. All paths are easily accessible. We follow the GR151 along two ponds and through the Arlune valley. The valley is left behind to end up on a paved road, which is followed for 1.6 km, with a small crossing. It is the connecting road between cycle junctions 11 and 43. This might be the only downside to this increase. However, the road is car-free.

Once the road leaves, you enter the valley of the Ruisseau de la Fange Jean Simon. A bog that can charm the hiker with its beautiful nature and wonderful scents. The stream is followed until it empties into La Rulles, a stream where dams were built for industrial purposes in the past. There are still few signs of industry, the whole area has been transformed into a magnificent walking network.

Once you reach the banks of La Rulles, you follow it to make a loop by which you reach the other bank via a few bridges. The walk takes you in front of the Château Du Pont D'Oye. We were lucky, the door was open and we could enter the courtyard to admire the castle.

The GR, which circulates partly on the sidewalks, is taken over to complete the loop.

The ban on not enjoying the walk was over for us. ;o)
