This beautiful route takes you around Brakel in the Flemish Ardennes.

We ride over gently rolling hills, along wooded slopes, winding streams, and picturesque valleys.

From the hilltops, you often have a panoramic view of the landscape.

This blue loop takes you, after a detour past Parike, through the Everbeekse forests, with a climb through the Steenbergbos, the Kollebroeken, and an adventurous trip through the Trimpontbos. Here you can possibly enjoy a nice stop at manège De Paardenbloem.

We then briefly hop over the language border to Flobecq, the Livierenbos. You can enjoy the serene beauty of this forest, surrounded by ancient trees.

Along the way, you are sure to find a perfect spot to enjoy a picnic.

We gallop further along the Brakelbos before continuing towards Zegelsem along some rugged field roads and the ascent of the notorious IJskelderweg.

Via some beautiful field paths in the area of the Burreken nature reserve, we make our way back peacefully to our starting point.
