Visit the sights of Tournai!
Tournai has always been an important city, and you can immediately tell when you are standing in the large market square. The belfry, the cloth hall, and the cathedral are not proportional to the size of this city with 30,000 inhabitants. Tournai is one of the oldest cities in Belgium, which can be seen in the uncovered excavations.
It is a city on the Scheldt, making it strategically quite important, and thus it also received a medieval city wall.
During the walk, we pass by remnants from this time. Tournai has 7 museums, including some significant ones like the Museum of Fine Arts. You can already tell that this walking path will reveal various aspects.
