Vespa Club Tessenderlo

Club ride: July 30, 2023 - departure 11 AM.

Today it was again Marco's turn to surprise the club members with a fantastic ride on less known terrain. We are heading to the Atomium in Brussels!

Despite the changeable weather, we still had a nice turnout of 40 Vespas, with a few of them as duo Zitter.

After Marco's briefing about the ride, we got ready to start. No one felt the need to put on a rain suit as the apps were in agreement that we would be spared from rain. However, after an hour of riding, it was time to stop and put on that rain suit to prevent worse.

The route took us through beautiful narrow roads, green meadows, forests, and stunning neighborhoods.

The first planned stop was again a hit, a very nice and pleasant place with friendly and beautiful service. Brasserie Brouwershof welcomed our members with open arms, and we were allowed to take a seat on the covered terrace in the sun. Enjoying ourselves and briefly sharing our joy about the ride in good company.

After half an hour, we made our way back to the parking lot, and everyone got ready to leave. Off we go again!

Part 2 took us to, or better said, under the Atomium where we had parked our wasps for a photoshoot and some experiments with an insta360 x3 camera. In other words, we had a good laugh and acted silly under the spheres of Brussels!

Part 3 of the ride went smoother and guided us to the next stop where we could indulge in delicious ice creams. The sun was out in the afternoon, so everyone was able to enjoy it on the terrace of the place 't ijshoorntje.

Part 4 and also the last part was towards the clubhouse, with the well-known ride over the market of our home base Tessenderlo.

Again, a very nice and successful ride thanks to the present members and road captains, and of course, our ride master of the day!
