This walk starts and ends at the Kachtemsplein in Kachtem. There is plenty of parking space on Kachtemsplein, including reserved parking spaces for people with disabilities.

The course runs entirely on paved smooth (foot) paths that are sufficiently wide. In some places you do have to cross low curbs. The old road to the marina of Kachtem runs over cobblestones, which is why we opt for an alternative view from the Sas Bridge.

Adapted sanitary facilities can be found in:

Brasserie Rhodesgoed (Rhodestraat 2, 8870 Izegem - open every day from 11:30 am to 11 pm)

Museum Eperon d'Or (Prins Albertlaan 5, 8870 Izegem - open Tuesday to Sunday from 1.30 pm to 5.30 pm).
