In winter, many birds migrate south, and for some species the destination is no further south than Belgium. White-fronted Geese and Pink-footed Geese, for example. They fly thousands of kilometres from the High North to the polder areas on the coast, and then start breeding in the Arctic Circle again in the spring. During this walk you will undoubtedly come across them in the De Blankaart nature reserve.
