Moulin-du-Ruy - Coo - La Gleize via dessus Roanne

A walk for the hiker who wants to explore the unbeaten paths !

A lot of altitude meters : the route starts at 280m and goes via a long first climb (3.5 km) to 490m through the bois Dessus Roanne to descend steeply again (1 km - via Belvédère Thiry with a beautiful view) to 235m in Coo , where a first stop can be made.

The first part follows the LG6 walk, indicated by the green block, but deviates from it after 2.2 km.

From Coo starts the second long climb (5 km, start via the GR but then deviate from it) to 435m in Brume to descend again long (4 km) to the lowest point of 215m on the bridge over the Amblève in La Venne . A third, steep climb (1 km) brings us back to 315m in La Gleize (possible to stop) after which (follow walk LG2 - the red block) a slope to 245m brings us back via the lively river 'Le Roannay' to the start at 280m.

The climbs/descents are all 'smooth'. So there are no 'bumps' that do not count in the altitude.
