Anderstad: Bird watching in Lier

Circular walk around the Anderstad area, also called Beneden-Nete , located between the left bank of the Nete and the Nete Canal. The Lier bird area par excellence, a true paradise for birds. The wide reed beds and ponds act as a resting area during migration and as a breeding area for many rare species.

In the photos: Grasshopper Warbler, Bluethroat, Common Tern, Spoonbill with young Herring Gull and Grey Heron, Snipe and Lapwings, Pied Sandpipers, Little Egret and Water Rail, Great Egret, Sandpiper.
