Slightly modified version of the classic Lozenhoek hiking trail in Keerbergen: This version runs east of the Bosduifweg along an earth path, right at the Keerbergen-Grootlo border.
The Lozenhoek hiking trail was outlined by the Keerbergse Environmental Group, the pioneer of Natuurpunt Keerbergen. The path takes us to the northeastern corner of Keerbergen: the Lozenhoek, a fairly open landscape. Typical here are pollard oaks. The hiking trail visits the KRUISHEIDE, a remnant of the large heathland that stretched from Bonheiden to Baal.
