You can also shorten the walk to nine kilometers. Then you miss the Tower of Eben-Ezer. Alternatively, you can visit it by car at the end of the walk. There are some parking spaces there. At Fort Eben-Emael, combat bunkers, defensive blocks and observation domes can be viewed from the outside for free. You can also get a free look inside the fort (engine room, showers, waiting cells). For ten euros you can venture further inside. For 15 euros you can take a two-hour tour through the miles of corridors. Guided tours in German are also offered regularly. Open in summer from Tuesday to Sunday from 10am to 5pm.
