Few landscapes breathe as much history as the Westhoek. As one of the most famous battlefields of the First World War, this region continues to inspire artists. Their creative expressions ensure that this piece of history is never forgotten. Invisible Landscape is one such initiative: 24 landscape artworks spread across the Westhoek that bring back to life the vanished traces from WWI. We rode our motorcycle past some of these artworks and especially enjoyed the lovely peace that prevails here.
