In the beautiful village of Spontin, you can visit a medieval castle whose keep dates back to the 12th century.
The Bocq river flows through the castle moat.
However, the water serves not only to protect the castle, it is also healthy.
At the edge of the village, there is a spring where the water rises and thus forms the river.
This water is delightful and can be drunk directly. The water quality is such that it is even transported to Brussels.
