For centuries, cargo ships have been transporting goods to and from Antwerp along the Scheldt. At the same time, thousands of cyclists pedal every weekend around the dikes that must contain the rising water. It is a joy with a capital ‘J’, from the green Rupel region along the water-rich Klein-Brabant to the picturesque Wase villages on the other side.
