Erwetegem Peace Point Hike

Starting at the bottom of Kattenberg, we hike over the Stopweide to rest point 1 (the local St. Antonius Chapel). Along the Doolstraat, we continue to Domain Breivelde (rest point 2). From there, we hike to the pond at Vijverstraat near "De Zoeten Inval" (rest point 3). Passing rest point 4 (Egmont Castle and the park), we continue to the market square in Zottegem (rest point 5). From there, we walk along the back of WZC De Bron (rest point 6) before returning to our starting point.

Except for the route to rest point 1 (2.3 km), all distances between consecutive rest points are a maximum of 1.5 km. At each rest point, one or more benches are available, and there is usually the possibility to have a drink and/or a snack. There are also seating areas at various locations between the rest points....
