The sixth stage of our (Sworks_1977 and myself) to the Three-Country Point from Antwerp. The other stages can be found in the linked group Antwerp - Three-Country Point.
A journey along the edges of the military area around Leopoldsburg to Zolder. As usual, these are very quiet and green regions.
Very easy to do with public transport. The start and finish are at a train station.
Anyone who wants to reduce the elevation can choose to stay on the bike path along the spoil tip of Zolder at kilometer 14.54. The road on the flank of the spoil tip can certainly be difficult to traverse, especially in wet weather. Caution is advised on the short but fairly steep descent.
This walk can be shortened or even extended at various points. Take advantage of it.
