We took this walk on December 20, 2024
For the route, we used the junction point system and the various marked quiet walks. It is a very varied walk that goes through the nature reserves of Gerhagen and Averbode Bos and Heide. Since February 2010, a large area in Gerhagen has been designated as a "quiet area".
The nature park Gerhagen has an area of 945ha and is located between four major roads: the Turnhoutsebaan to the west, the Schoterweg to the north, the Sparrenweg to the east, and the Engsbergseweg to the south.
