A half marathon that starts at the train station in Veurne, through the suburbs of this historic city, along the military airfield, and then takes you on a fantastic ride through the different neighborhoods of Koksijde. For about three-quarters of the route, you will climb the highest dune in Flanders, and of course, the descent is designed so that you have enough time to coast without being disturbed by a busy road or a sharp turn.
This route is planned so that the entire path is perfectly accessible with roller skates and inline skates, without having to worry about the condition of the road or traffic. Aside from the steep ascent of the Hoge Blekker, there are no elevation gain to overcome.
