We did this walk on January 23, 2025

For this walk, we parked the car in the spacious parking lot of the Kesselse Heide provincial green area. Public transport enthusiasts can also start at Kessel train station.

This route is very varied and there is a lot to see. The green area itself is already a feast for the eyes. You also pass by the Kleine Nete, and the fortress of Kessel must not be missed on a walk like this. As for the ground, there are muddy paths at times (especially during wet periods) and then again firm underfoot. So, plenty of variety.
