On Saturday, March 8 2025, the Ename Classic will kick off a new season of the Proximus Cycling Challenge. A beautiful season opener that sets the tone for a series of challenging bike rides through the most beautiful regions of our country. The Ename Classic is a first good test for those who have been training hard over the past few months. For others, it's the perfect moment to awaken from their (bike) winter slumber.

Some unknown but steep climbs, smooth connecting stretches, and stunning landscapes along the way, that is the Ename Classic. In short, the perfect ride to test and sharpen your condition. The beginning of what is undoubtedly a long and enjoyable cycling season.

For the start and finish of the opening ride of the Proximus Cycling Challenge, we will head to Oudenaarde, a city that is closely associated with cycling for fans of the sport. The menu features four beautiful routes of 65 km, 90 km, 120 km, or 150 km. As a bonus, Brouwerij Roman provides a free bottle of Ename abbey beer at the finish.
