We rode this beautiful, varied route on 02/05/2025
Beautiful cycling route, starting at Park de Soeverein in Lommel. There is a lot to see during this cycling tour. You pass through Luyksgestel, a lovely village with a bakery museum. You cycle through various nature areas; National Park Bosland, Heuvelse Heide, De Zwarte Bergen, Bergeyksche Stukken, Grenspark De Kempen, Reuselse Moeren, alongside nature reserve De Ronde Put and not to forget the Lommelse Sahara. Nature guaranteed! We included two canals in this route; the beautiful Dessel-Schoten canal and the somewhat wider canal from Bocholt to Herentals.
At junction 18, you can enjoy a snack and a drink at the Inn "In het Wilde Zwijn". At junction 77, you can deviate from the route to enjoy some fries, ice cream, etc. at the Postelse Abbey.
It’s a route that definitely doesn't get boring.
