Horstroute

The castle of Horst was uninhabited for an eternity. An ideal opportunity
for the Red Knight to occupy this room in a kind of kraken avant la lettre, even if just in comic form. The surrounding landscape
offers everything to create the dream setting for exciting stories: hills,
forests, narrow paths, picturesque villages, water spots here and there, gentle
fields, some beautiful farms, even a real gallows and guest caves where you
can enjoy a real feast. When you ride through this landscape
on your steel horse, you can see all this with your own eyes. However, you will not find the Red Knight himself, unless in comic form at the heritage shop near the castle of Horst.

SAFETY
Be careful in the busy area of Louvain train station and
when crossing some busy streets. Otherwise, the route is quite safe. Nowhere car-free.

NATURE OF THE WAY
Twice it is steep and twice you will ride over quite difficult gravel paths.
