The name of the area comes from the Zonhoven dialect word 'toot', which means pointed or tip.
Those who like to look out over the heath should definitely choose the green route. This shorter walk shows you the most beautiful spots of the Teut, with a stunning panorama atop the teut hill, lovely ponds, and in August-September, gorgeous blooming purple heather.
