Feeling like going on a varied hike full of nature, adventure, and experience? The Yellow Route is a must! From the cozy reception center 't Begijntje, you start your journey along a serene fishing pond. Climb the observation tower and admire the beautiful ponds from above. Bring your binoculars and spot the many waterfowl that call this area their home.
A walk full of surprises
The route takes you further through atmospheric forests where playful experience elements challenge and entertain children. Also, discover the farmland north of Resterheide and enjoy the variety between nature fields, ponds, coniferous and deciduous forests, and typical agricultural landscapes.

A special piece of nature
On the border of Hechtel-Eksel and Peer, you will discover in Resterheide the 'van de Zwarte Beek and de Bollissenbeek. Although the name 'heath' suggests otherwise, you will find a unique mix of nature and agriculture here, where every hiking path offers a new experience.
